Who We Are
The Eagles Wrestling Club gives kids age 4 through 8th grade an opportunity to learn and compete in amateur wrestling. We practice at Eisenhower High School. We compete in the Michigan Youth Wrestling Association MYWA-Metro Region.
History
Our club was started as the Utica Warriors Wrestling Club in 2004 by Chuck Drogosch and Larry Pennell. The club initially consisted of kids from several area school districts. Because good wrestlers attract other good wrestlers and make other wrestlers better, the Warriors quickly became one of the most dominate elite wrestling clubs in the state. In 2007, as the club became full, a focus was put on becoming a feeder program for Eisenhower High School. In 2008 the name of the club was changed to Eagles Wrestling Club.
